Please pay particular attention to the sections on sensitive information, children, medical limitations, reminder reliability, destructive backup operations, liability, and disputes. Nown is a record and reminder tool, not a medical device or a substitute for professional judgment.
1. Parties and acceptance
This User Agreement is between you and Nown's developer and operator (“Nown,” “we,” or “us”) and governs your download, installation, access to, and use of the Nown app, official website, and support services. Contact us at support@vanohezy.com.
Read this agreement and the Privacy Policy before use. By using the service, you agree to this agreement. Matters that require separate consent or another form of confirmation under applicable law will be presented separately. If you disagree, do not use or stop using the service.
2. Eligibility and children
You must have the legal capacity appropriate for your use. Minors should use Nown only with a guardian's review, consent, and guidance. A child under 14 must not independently add real personal information or contact support without guardian consent. Guardians should supervise the use of photos, notifications, backups, and information about family members.
3. Service
Nown provides profiles for family, pets, and plants; care reminders; structured records; photos and notes; timelines, trends, and milestone memories; backup import and export; and appearance and language settings. Available features are those shown in the version you use.
The current version does not require an account. Before adding accounts, cloud sync, family sharing, paid services, or other connected features, we will explain the rules, information processing, price (if any), and conditions, and will enter into or update applicable terms where necessary.
4. License
Subject to this agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use Nown on Apple devices you lawfully own or control. Use through the App Store is also subject to applicable Apple Media Services terms.
5. Your content and responsibilities
You retain rights in content you lawfully create. You are responsible for ensuring that text, photos, health details, and family information you enter, import, store, or share are lawfully obtained and do not infringe privacy, likeness, reputation, intellectual property, or other rights.
- Have guardianship, permission, or another lawful basis before adding information about another person, especially a child or dependent adult.
- Record only information needed for the care purpose and avoid unnecessary highly sensitive details in titles, notes, or notifications.
- Protect device access, notification previews, exported backups, and files you share.
- Take responsibility for destinations and third parties you actively choose for exported or shared content.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Violate law, public order, or the lawful rights of another person.
- Collect, record, disclose, sell, or provide personal information without authority.
- Bypass security, maliciously disrupt the service, distribute malware, or exploit vulnerabilities.
- Copy, rent, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create a confusing imitation except where law expressly permits.
- Impersonate Nown, claim a false partnership, or use Nown's name, logo, or interface in a misleading way.
7. No medical or professional service
Nown records, organizes, displays, and reminds. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, dosage advice, emergency response, veterinary or plant diagnosis, legal advice, or another professional service. Trends and records may be incomplete or affected by entry error and must not be the sole basis for a professional decision.
Contact local emergency services or a qualified professional for emergencies, unusual symptoms, medication questions, or another high-risk matter. Independently verify medicine, dosage, timing, and professional advice.
8. Reminder reliability
Notifications may be affected by permission settings, Focus, Scheduled Summary, battery, network, time zone, system updates, app state, or other device settings and may be delayed, hidden, or not delivered. Maintain a separate alarm, human confirmation, or other safeguard for medication, treatment, child safety, and critical matters.
9. Backup, import, and deletion
Nown supports complete backups with images, replacement import, and data clearing. The app presents a warning before import or clearing, but a completed operation may be irreversible. Verify the source, version, and contents of a file and keep any necessary copy before proceeding.
Files, cloud drives, transfer tools, and other destinations you choose are operated by their providers. Nown cannot control their availability, retention, or security. Uninstalling the app, device failure, system restoration, user error, or inadequate backups may result in loss.
10. Third-party services and links
Nown may use Apple's system photo picker, notifications, App Store, review destination, and sharing features. The website may link to China's filing inquiry service, Apple, or another third-party site. Those services are independently operated, and Nown does not control their content, availability, or privacy practices.
11. Fees and future paid features
A current statement that a feature is free or coming soon is not a promise that it will always be free. Before any paid download, one-time purchase, or subscription, we will clearly show the price, benefits, duration, renewal, and cancellation method and follow App Store and applicable legal requirements. We will not charge you without clear confirmation.
12. Intellectual property
Except for content in which you lawfully retain rights, Nown's name, marks, logo, software, interface, design, animation, copy, data structure, and website are protected by intellectual property law and belong to us or the relevant rights holder. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
13. Changes, interruption, and termination
We may adjust, suspend, or discontinue features for product development, security, compatibility, law, force majeure, or third-party service changes. We will provide reasonable advance or prompt notice for material effects and, where technically feasible, appropriate export or disposition guidance.
You may stop using and uninstall Nown at any time; export anything you need before clearing or uninstalling. We may take necessary, lawful steps to restrict service where a serious breach harms others or service security.
14. Service standard and liability
We use reasonable efforts to maintain security, stability, and accuracy. Technology, device conditions, and user-entered data mean we cannot promise uninterrupted service, perfectly accurate records, guaranteed notification delivery, or fitness for every particular purpose.
We remain responsible where loss is caused by our intent or gross negligence as required by law. Nothing in this agreement excludes a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Loss caused by your breach, unauthorized handling of another person's information, inadequate backup, or an independent third-party service remains allocated according to applicable law.
15. Updates to this agreement
We may update this agreement for service or legal changes and will show a new date. Material changes will be highlighted through the app, website, or another prominent channel. Where law requires renewed confirmation, we will obtain it. If you disagree, stop using Nown and export or delete information as appropriate.
16. Governing law and disputes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this agreement is governed by the laws of mainland China. The parties should first attempt good-faith discussion. If unresolved, either party may bring a claim before a court with lawful jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer venue rights remain unaffected.
17. Other terms
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Headings are for convenience. If a translation conflicts with the Chinese version, the Chinese version controls to the extent permitted by law.
